Type of Children: |
|
Children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens. Most children referred are girls, and are generally in very good health. Sibling groups also available. |

Parent Qualifications: |
|
Married couples and singles, between the ages of 30 and 55. There should be no more than a 45-year age difference between the adoptive parents and adopted child. Families with child(ren) from a current or previous marriage are eligible to adopt a healthy child. The age of the applicants determines the age of the child that they are qualified to adopt: Applicants ages 30-44 — qualify for a child of any age Applicants ages 45-49 — child must be at least 13 months old Applicants ages 50+ — child must be at least 36 months old |

Referral Time: |

6-9 months, once the dossier is in China (less for children 3 or older). Timeframe based on prior USCIS approval. |

Processing Time: |

2-3 months, once referral has been received. |

Travel Requirements: |

One or both parents travel, and must stay in China for 10-14 days to complete the adoption process. |
